Impressive Reid keen to remain at Ewood

BLACKBURN and Republic of Ireland midfielder Steven Reid is anxious to sign a new deal with the Ewood Park club, despite speculation linking him with a summer move to Manchester United.

Reid is currently playing the best football of his career, and is one of the key reasons why manager Mark Hughes' side are chasing a place in next season's Champions League.

The form of Reid has apparently not gone unnoticed at Old Trafford, with the 25-year-old seemingly attracting admiring glances from United manager Alex Ferguson.
