Chelsea to seek revenge and end Shearer’s FA Cup dream

JOSE MOURINHO has the chance to make up for one of the few disappointments in his short Chelsea career after his side were drawn at home to Newcastle in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

Last season saw Mourinho gamble with his team selection in the fifth round at St James’ Park, and an early goal from Patrick Kluivert gave Newcastle a shock victory, ending Chelsea’s domestic treble dream.

This time the focus may fall more on Alan Shearer than on Mourinho and Chelsea, however, with the former England captain longing to guide his club to a major trophy before he retires at the end of the season.
