THIERRY HENRY has warned that Arsenal are suffering from exhaustion as he admitted he needs to quickly regain his own fitness and form to help revive their faltering fortunes.

Henry did not quite echo Patrick Vieira’s call for a break from action, albeit one that the midfielder subsequently insisted he only made in the heat of the after-match moment.

However, the French striker insisted he and Arsenal are not alone in suffering the after-effects of international duty and the punishing demand of midweek games for his club. He pointed out that the same problem seems to be afflicting Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund, who all drew on the same night that Arsenal succumbed to a shock second defeat in the space of four days against Auxerre in the Champions League.
