Todd signs new Ewood contract

BLACKBURN defender Andy Todd has signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract after impressing since Mark Hughes’ arrival at Ewood Park.

Todd joined Rovers from Charlton in May 2002, after falling foul of club discipline at The Valley.

He also had a falling-out with Graeme Souness before Hughes’ appointment.

Hughes said: “It is really good news. Andy has been fantastic since I arrived here. He worked hard to get his chance and when it came he responded magnificently.”
