Mourinho looks for Christmas sacrifice

CHELSEA boss Jose Mourinho has insisted his team attend training on Christmas Day as they look to maintain their position at the top of the Premiership.

Chelsea play Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge on St Stephen's Day and Mourinho expects his team to match their ambition with application by training through the holiday period.

While the former Porto boss insists he puts his family before football, he believes a little bit of suffering will go some way towards helping Chelsea achieve their aims.
