Leicester give Wise the boot after alleged assault on team-mate Davidson

DENNIS WISE was yesterday sacked by Leicester as a result of his alleged assault on team-mate Callum Davidson during the club's pre-season tour of Finland.

The former Chelsea skipper has had the remaining two years of his contract terminated by the Foxes for what they regard as serious misconduct.

Wise had already been suspended by City after the incident in the team hotel which left Davidson with a double fracture of his cheekbone.
