Real part company with manager after winning league

REAL MADRID have decided to part company with coach Vicente del Bosque just a day after his side clinched their 29th league championship.

A meeting of the club’s board of directors, chaired by president Florentino Perez, had decided against renewing the 52-year-old’s contract as Real Madrid coach.

Manchester United assistant coach Carlos Quieroz and Porto boss Jose Mourinho are the two leading candidates to take the helm at the Bernabeu.
