Gerrard pledges long-term future to Liverpool

ENGLAND midfielder Steven Gerrard is ready to pledge his long-term future to Liverpool.

Gerrard made the announcement in Bangkok ahead of the match against Thailand tonight following speculation linking him to a move to Chelsea.

“I’m happy at Liverpool and the club is happy with me. I’m ready to commit myself to the club’s future and I’m sure that’s going to happen,” he said.
