Jewell not keen on England job

WIGAN boss Paul Jewell would not even consider the England manager's job if it came his way.

The winner of the last two Barclays Premiership Manager of the Month awards has categorically ruled himself out for the top job when and if it is vacated by Sven-Goran Eriksson after seeing his stock rise sharply with his side's superb form following promotion to the top flight.

"I just couldn't stand the politics and all the nonsense that goes with the England job," he said.
