Rooney to sign new deal with Everton

The 17-year-old, billed as the most exciting prospect in English football since Michael Owen, has yet to sign a new contract as he is in the process of changing agents.

There have been reports that other clubs may try to use the delay to snatch the teenage forward but Moyes was adamant that Rooney is staying at Everton.
