Solskjaer's eyes set on silverware with Queiroz

OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER says the arrival of new coach Carlos Queiroz can help bring silverware back to Old Trafford this season.

The former Portugal and South Africa coach became Alex Ferguson’s number two this summer as Manchester United adopted a continental approach to regaining their Barclaycard Premiership number one spot.

Ferguson has already expressed delight at Queiroz’s input, giving every indication he will enjoy the kind of success celebrated by both Brian Kidd and Steve McClaren as the Scot’s sturdy right-hand man.
