McClaren signs new deal

Middlesbrough boss Steve McClaren is poised to sign a new contract at the Riverside after agreeing terms with chairman Steve Gibson.

McClaren, who also works as a coach with Sven-Goran Eriksson’s England team, has already been with Boro for four years.

According to reports, his new deal is also a four-year term.
