Healy ready to fight for first team place

COLIN HEALY will put behind him the disappointment of not playing for Celtic in two league matches this season when he travels with Ireland to Finland for a friendly international in Helsinki next week.

“I’m looking forward to joining up with the players who did so well in the World Cup,” he said yesterday, “it would be great if I get a game against Finland.”

Healy made a huge impact in three appearances for Ireland in friendly matches earlier this year before the international squad left for the World Cup finals.
