Gravesen’s club season all but over, says Moyes

THOMAS GRAVESEN’S Premiership season is almost certainly over but he will not be ruled out of Denmark’s Euro 2004 campaign.

Gravesen’s club season all but over, says Moyes

The Danish midfielder suffered medial knee ligament damage in Saturday's home defeat by Blackburn and had a scan on the injury yesterday. Everton manager David Moyes was already aware of the seriousness of the problem and insists he has no chance of being fit before the final game of the season on May 15 at Manchester City.

Likewise, Irish winger Kevin Kilbane who suffered a hamstring injury against Rovers is also unlikely to play again this term. But it is the loss of the influential Gravesen, who will be offered a new contract this summer, that is the most serious blow to Everton, who still need three points to be safe from the drop.
