Amoruso set to give Blackburn their answer this week

RANGERS defender Lorenzo Amoruso is set to give an answer to Blackburn Rovers within the week Manager Graeme Souness met with Amoruso in Italy in a bid to finalise the deal which would take the 31-year-old to Ewood Park.

The former Fiorentina man had claimed Arsenal were considering a bid before Arsene Wenger poured cold water on any deal.

Discussions with Blackburn are still ongoing but Amoruso’s agent, Andrea D’Amico, is hopeful Rovers will get an answer within seven days if not before the weekend.
