Keane could return for Leverkusen game

ROY KEANE could make his Manchester Utd return against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League next month, manager Alex Ferguson said.

The Ireland midfielder is considering an appeal against the five-match ban imposed by the English Football Association earlier this week after he was found guilty on two charges of bringing the game into disrepute.

Such a ban would force Keane to miss five domestic fixtures, starting with the League Cup game against Leicester on November 5 and ending with the visit to title rivals Liverpool on December 1.
