Ireland’s Women’s Rugby World Cup campaign can give a huge boost to the upcoming Energia All-Ireland League season and to future generations of international stars, UL Bohemian playmaker Caitriona Finn believes.
Speaking at the 2025-26 Energia AIL season launch in Dublin on Wednesday, the Ireland Under-20 fly-half/centre said the national team had given young Irish girls and boys a big incentive to take up the sport while current young players like herself could see a clear pathway to making the squad for the 2029 World Cup in Australia.
