Ireland women’s head coach Scott Bemand has refused to be drawn on where Alex Codling’s duties will take him once the women’s World Cup in England is done and dusted at the back end of the summer.

Codling joined the women’s staff for the start of the current season as forwards coach and was then co-opted onto Munster’s interim ticket in a similar capacity in November after the shock announcement of Graham Rowntree’s departure as boss.
