It may seem to the uninitiated as if the Munster front-row are being exposed to unjust hardships as they prepare for a third heavyweight scrum showdown in as many weekends with the Bulls coming to Thomond Park this Saturday.

After the mammoth challenges of powerhouse French forward packs these past two Saturdays in La Rochelle and Bordeaux, there could have been softer landings on their return to Irish shores than the prospect of a South African unit of similar prowess arriving in Limerick shortly afterwards.
