Alex Nankivell’s potential return to Munster colours for this Saturday’s URC semi-final has paved the way for “a big match-up” in the midfield battle with Glasgow’s Scotland centres according to Warriors assistant coach Peter Murchie.

Nankivell is closing in on his Munster comeback following an ankle injury sustained last month as the defending champions prepare for their Thomond Park clash, with the New Zealander’s return increasing the prospect of head coach Graham Rowntree fielding him alongside Antoine Frisch in his first-choice centre partnership.
