Graham Rowntree had the luxury of a stress-free Saturday as he uncorked a bottle of red, sat back in his armchair and watched the rest of the URC semi-final line-up take shape.
Munster had already done their bit, systematically ending Ospreys’ dreams of an unlikely run deep into the play-offs at Thomond Park on Friday with a pragmatic 23-7 last-eight victory that sets up a knockout rematch with last season’s quarter-final victims Glasgow Warriors back in Limerick this Saturday at 6pm.
