A philosophical James Ryan said he would continue to risk failing at the highest level as long as Leinster continued trying to win the biggest trophies as he reflected on a third successive Champions Cup final defeat at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.

Leinster came up short in north London as Toulouse claimed their sixth European title in a pulsating encounter that went to extra time before the French club pulled away through three penalties from Thomas Ramos to win 31-22.
