Given Irish rugby's success over the past decade, another Champions Cup title is long overdue.

A return of just one Champions Cup in the 12 years since Leinster captured back-to-back titles in 2011 and 2012 is hardly reflective of the lofty position Irish rugby has enjoyed on the international stage over the last decade.

With the likes of Peter O'Mahony, Conor Murray, Iain Henderson, Cian Healy and Robbie Henshaw having been part of five Six Nations championship winning Irish squads in that period, it’s not unreasonable to suggest another Champions Cup success is long overdue.
