Beibhinn Parsons one of five Sevens players asked to juggle Olympic dream with Six Nations

Eight uncapped players have been named in the squad.

Beibhinn Parsons is one of five Ireland sevens players who will be asked to balance those commitments with the approaching Six Nations in what is a major change of course from the IRFU in terms of the women’s game.

Three of the sevens players - Parsons, Eve Higgins and Aoibheann Reilly – all played a part in the country’s first ever HSBC series win in Perth last month and that global tour will cross over with the women’s Six Nations which begins in late March.
