Munster were last night waiting for word from Ireland’s training camp in Portugal about the number of reinforcements they can expect back from Andy Farrell’s Guinness Six Nations squad for Saturday’s marquee friendly against Crusaders at Cork’s Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

Head coach Graham Rowntree is hopeful former Crusaders tighthead prop Oli Jager could be among the players released back to their province for the historic sell-out game between the URC and Super Rugby champions on Leeside.
