Jack O’Donoghue will be eager to return to Munster’s High Performance Centre this morning and start preparing for the New Year’s Day trip to Connacht following the St Stephen’s Day home loss to Leinster.

The URC champions came out second best in a dogfight of a game on Tuesday night as Leinster edged it 9-3 to complete a league double for the season over Munster and fifth successive competitive win in Limerick, Leo Cullen’s side victorious in each of their four previous visits to Thomond Park.
