Owen Farrell: Thomond Park was always a place I wanted to go

Asked to name his dream European rugby destinations, the fly-half cited Stade Marcel-Deflandre, Clermont’s Parc Marcel Michelin and Munster’s Thomond Park.

Owen Farrell has named Thomond Park as one of his top European rugby destinations as he looked forward to next month’s Investec Champions Cup kick-off.

The Saracens and England captain was at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday, the finals venue for the 2023-24 campaign which gets underway on the weekend of December 8-10 with La Rochelle aiming for a third title in a row under head coach Ronan O’Gara.
