Connacht lock Niall Murray, who turned 24 a couple of weeks ago, can scarcely believe he will chalk up his 60th appearance for his native province if he plays for the URC leaders against Edinburgh this weekend.

But the second row from Brideswell in south Roscommon has become a mainstay in the side in recent seasons despite only taking up rugby when he was 16.
