Peter O’Mahony: ‘Winning drives your hunger even more’

Peter O’Mahony believes last season’s Grand Slam should fuel Ireland’s hunger for more silverware.

With the World Cup kicking off in Japan in 13 months, expectations outside the Irish camp have rocketed following a 2017-18 campaign which saw Joe Schmidt’s side go unbeaten for 12 Tests en route to a first Six Nations Grand Slam since 2009 and then secure the first series in Australia since 1979.
