Update: Craig Gilroy apologises for 'Whatsapp message I sent in June 2016'

Update 11.30pm: Ulster winger Craig Gilroy has apologised for a sexually explicit message he sent teammate Stuart Olding following the incident at the centre of the recent rape trial involving Olding and fellow Ulster and Ireland star Paddy Jackson.

"I would like to apologise unreservedly for any offence cause by the Whatsapp message I sent in June 2016," he wrote in a statement posted on Twitter.
