Tuohy included in Ulster squad

Second row Dan Tuohy has recovered from a leg injury in time to feature in Ulster’s extended squad ahead of Friday's RaboDirect PRO12 game with Scarlets at Ravenhill (7.05pm).

Tuohy suffered a torn calf muscle in the 9-10 loss to Northampton three weeks ago but has responded well to treatment and may play a part in the first versus second encounter this weekend.

Development hooker Niall Annett, who made a significant impact off the bench in Saturday’s defeat to Munster, has also been included despite Rory Best returning to the squad.

Best is one of a number of internationals, including Andrew Trimble, Iain Henderson and Ruan Pienaar, who are available after missing the trip to Thomond Park.

Mark Anscombe’s men got the better of things when the two sides met in Wales last month ago with Andrew Trimble scoring the only try in a 19-12 victroy.
