A disciplinary committee has decided to uphold the red card received by Damien Varley during the Ospreys v Munster RaboDirect PRO12 match last month following a hearing in Edinburgh today.

A disciplinary committee has decided to uphold the red card received by Damien Varley during the Ospreys v Munster RaboDirect PRO12 match last month following a hearing in Edinburgh today.

Having listened to the testimony and reviewed all of the evidence available, the disciplinary committee believed that the offence did not warrant further sanction being imposed, which means the Munster hooker is free to resume playing with immediate effect.
