Munster backrow Peter O’Mahony, who was initially selected as an ‘additional player’ to help in training ahead of the Six Nations, has today been included in the extended squad ahead Ireland’s the first game of the tournament.

The Ireland management have named a 32-man squad as preparations reach their final stages for Ireland’s opening game of the 2012 RBS Six Nations Championship against Wales on Sunday, February 5.
