Provinces await scan results for Earls and O’Driscoll

Both the Munster and Leinster camps are sweating the results of scans on Keith Earls’ and Brian O’Driscoll’s respective injuries ahead of the opening weekend of the Heineken Cup.

Earls was taken off with what looked a serious leg injury in the opening minute Munster’s RaboDirect PRO 12 defeat to Leinster in the Aviva Stadium on Friday.
