Henson set to join Cardiff

Wales centre Gavin Henson looks set to be unveiled as a Cardiff Blues player tomorrow, after his agents appeared to confirm the deal on Twitter.

Henson, 29, has been without a club since being released by Toulon at the end of last season, and saw his dreams of appearing at the World Cup dashed when he suffered a wrist injury playing for Wales against England in August.

But his agents, Arruga Sports, tweeted today: “Congratulations to Gavin Henson for signing with Cardiff Blues...Great news!”

A separate tweet also stated that Henson will be officially presented as a Blues player on Wednesday.
