Schmidt shuffles Leinster pack, Marshall gets the nod for Ulster

The Leinster team to face the Scarlets in Saturday evening's RaboDirect PRO12 clash in Parc y Scarlets (6.30pm) sees three changes, all in the pack, from the side that lost to Glasgow Warriors.

Kiwi Nathan White will make his first start for the province after appearing as a replacement last weekend.

Damian Browne lines up alongside Devin Toner while Jordi Murphy comes in for his first senior start after also coming off the bench against the Warriors.

The backline is unchanged meaning Cillian Willis partners Ian Madigan at half-back.

Eoin O’Malley again lines up alongside Luke Fitzgerald at centre with David Kearney, Fionn Carr and Isa Nacewa completing the back three.

Ulster coach Brian McLaughlin has made just one change to the starting XV for this Sunday’s RaboDirect PRO12 match against the Ospreys at Liberty Stadium (4.30pm).

Luke Marshall has been called in to replace injured centre Darren Cave, who has been rested following a recurrence of a hamstring injury which plagued him for most of last season.

Ulster are boosted by the inclusion of Ian Humphreys who has been named at flyhalf after shaking off a shoulder injury picked up in the win over Cardiff last week.

The side is again led by captain Chris Henry at openside flanker, as McLaughlin has stuck with the forwards that dominated up front against Cardiff.

A rib injury has ruled out reserve scrumhalf Ian Porter, whose position on the bench is taken by 19 year old Academy player Blane McIlroy.

The only other change to the squad from Cardiff is the inclusion of Willie Faloon who will provide back row cover instead of Mike McComish.

Prop Callum Black remains unavailable due to a neck injury.
