Australia hooker Stephen Moore has been confirmed as another late withdrawal from the squad ahead of the clash with Ireland this morning.

Moore joins David Pocock on the Wallabies’ casualty list with coach Robbie Deans now having to plan for the mammoth World Cup clash against Ireland without two key players.

Waratahs hooker Tatafu Polota-Nau will step in for the Brumbies hooker with Saia Faingaa coming onto the bench.

Australia are now without three key players for this morning’s game with Pocock, Moore and Digby Loane sitting out the crunch match with Declan Kidney’s side.

Australia v Ireland (Revised squad): Kurtley Beale, James O'Connor, Anthony Fainga'a, Pat McCabe, Adam Ashley-Cooper, Quade Cooper, Will Genia, Radike Samo, Ben McCalman, Rocky Elsom, James Horwill (c), Dan Vickerman, Ben Alexander, Tatafu Polota Nau, Sekope Kepu.

Replacements: Saia Faingaa, James Slipper, Rob Simmons, Wycliff Palu, Scott Higginbotham, Luke Burgess, Drew Mitchell.
