Toulon hint at Cipriani interest

Toulon team manager Tom Whitford has hinted that the Top 14 club could be interested in signing Danny Cipriani from Super Rugby side the Melbourne Rebels.

French club Toulon will lose the services of England’s Jonny Wilkinson, Argentina’s Felipe Contepomi and Australia’s Matt Giteau during the World Cup in September and October, and Whitford acknowledges the need for a short-term replacement able to fill in at number 10.
