Ulster make double swoop for Black and McCornish
Ulster have confirmed the signings of prop Callum Black and back-rower Michael McCornish for next season.
Black, 25, will join from Worcester as he looks to pursue full international honours with Ireland having been capped at Under-18, Under-19 and Under-21 level.
McCornish will join from Magners League rivals Connacht after impressing for the Galway-based province over the course of the past two seasons.
Ulster’s rugby director David Humphreys said; “We’re delighted to announce that Callum and Michael will be joining us and strengthening our squad ahead of next season.
“Having spent the last few seasons with Connacht Michael has gained a lot of Magners League experience while at just 25, Callum has amassed considerable experience from the Premiership, the Championship as well as the LV= and Amlin Challenge Cup competitions and so will be a very useful addition to our front row.”
