Elwood names side for Edinburgh trip

Connacht coach Eric Elwood has named his side for Friday night’s Magners League game against Edinburgh in Murrayfield. (kick-off 7.05pm )

Miah Nikora retains the number ten shirt after his assured kicking display in last weekend narrow loss to the Ospreys at the Sportsgrounds with Ian Keatley having to contend with a place on the bench once more

Brian Tuohy and Shane Monahan win their first Magners League starts of the season; both had strong performances in Connacht historic win over Samoa and join Eoin Griffin, Keith Matthews and Gavin Duffy in the back line.

Duffy celebrated his 100th cap for Connacht last weekend.
