Fitzgerald to have rib X-ray

Leinster three-quarter Luke Fitzgerald will have an X-ray on his injured rib today to examine the extent of the damage that forced him off against Saracens in the Heineken Cup on Saturday.

It would come as a severe blow to Leinster's Joe Schmidt and Ireland's Declan Kidney were he ruled out for any period of time as Fitzgerald has been in fine form following his long rehabilitation from a serious injury last season.
