Murphy in line for Magners League debut

Connacht Academy graduate Dermot Murphy could be in line for his first competitive appearance in the Magners League away date at Cardiff Blues on Thursday night.

Coach Eric Elwood has named a 25-man squad, including three-quarter Aidan Wynne and openside Johnny O’Connor, as he attempts to build on the positive start to this year’s League campaign.

A decision will be made closer to the match as to the first 15, given that Elwood has to deal with a number of injury concerns on the heels of the five-day turnaround from Saturday’s draw with Ulster.
