The former Ireland U20 international will sit on the bench in place of the demoted Dave Nolan. He is almost certain to make an appearance at some stage.

Ray Ofisa, Niva Ta'auso and Bernie Upton all passed fitness tests and have been named in the starting fifteen.

Scrum-half Frank Murphy continues to deputise for the injured John Muldoon.
