Wales and England to open 2011 Six Nations on a Friday

Wales and England will launch next year's RBS 6 Nations in a groundbreaking Friday night opener.

The two sides will go head to head at the Millennium Stadium on Friday, February 4. It will be the first time the tournament has started on a Friday.

The move comes two years after the first Six Nations game on a Friday in which Wales lost 21-16 to France in Paris.

France beat Wales again – 26-20 in Cardiff – in the Friday night clash in this year’s championship.
