Earls: Bowe 'one of the best wingers in the world'

Keith Earls will start Ireland's Six Nations game against Scotland on the wing again, something he doesn't mind as he says he is learning about the position from Tommy Bowe, who he says is "one of the best wingers in the world".

Earls, who will play despite an eye problem last Saturday, usually plies his trade in the centre for Munster but will be lining up on the wing against Scotland this weekend.

Earls said: "Playing the game in the centre, you get to touch the ball a bit more, I just really enjoy it.

However, he did play on the wing against England and scored a try, so coach Declan Kidney is keeping faith with the Munster man.

Earls said: "I don't think Deccie would like to move me around as much. If Darce (Gordon D'Arcy) didn't make it I think Paddy (Wallace) would be stepping into the centre which I would be happy with.

Earls was quick to praise his fellow winger Tommy Bowe as he learned more about the position.

He said: "Staying on the wing you get to learn more about the wing. It's all about game time in that position, you are learning more about it and when you work with the likes of Tommy Bowe, he is probably one of the best wingers in the world, so it helps."
