ERC confirm last-eight fixtures
Munster's Heineken Cup quarter-final against Northampton will take place on Saturday, April 10.
Tournament organisers European Rugby Cup have confirmed a 5.30pm kick-off for the Thomond Park clash, which is a repeat of the teams’ Pool One encounter in Limerick just four days ago.
Saints, England’s solitary quarter-final survivors this season, lost 12-9 on that occasion but still progressed as one of two best runners-up.
Heineken Cup holders Leinster will launch the quarter-finals the previous evening in Dublin against Clermont Auvergne, starting at 8pm.
Welsh challengers the Ospreys then face Biarritz the following day, with Biarritz taking the game into northern Spain to the 32,000-capacity Estadio Anoeta in San Sebastian, home of Real Sociedad football club.
And the quarter-final programme is concluded on Sunday, April 11 with the all-French clash between Toulouse and Stade Francais.
Details of the second-tier Amlin Challenge Cup quarter-finals have also been announced.
Connacht host Bourgoin on Saturday, April 10, with Toulon facing a Saturday night home tie against the Scarlets.
Wasps will face Gloucester on Sunday, April 11, followed the same afternoon by Newcastle’s appointment with Cardiff Blues.
