Captain John Muldoon is fit to take his place in the Connacht squad for their Amlin Challenge Cup clash with Olympus Rugby Madrid at the Sportsground on Friday (6.30pm).

Captain John Muldoon is fit to take his place in the Connacht squad for their Amlin Challenge Cup clash with Olympus Rugby Madrid at the Sportsground on Friday (6.30pm).

While Muldoon has been able to overcome injury, fellow back rowers Ray Ofisa and Mike McComish have fallen by the wayside.

It could be the perfect setting for Connacht Academy members Conor Higgins, Dermot Murphy and Tiernan O'Halloran to make an impact.
