Munster big guns back for Leinster clash

Munster have all their big guns back in the squad for Saturday's inter-pro derby against arch rivals Leinster at the RDS.

Paul O'Connell, Keith Earls, David Wallace and Jerry Flannery are all set to make their first appearances of the season after being named in coach Tony McGahan's 26-man panel.

Paul Warwick and Niall Ronan also return from injury and Alan Quinlan is included among the back-row options despite being substituted with a neck injury last Sunday.

Barry Murphy is the only one unavailable from last week’s win over the Dragons with an ankle injury.

Munster will be hell-bent on retribution after their loss in the Heineken Cup semi-final last April but the Leinster’s players are being driven by the memory of last year’s humiliating league loss in the RDS when they were held scoreless.

Captain O'Connell admitted that he still hasn't fully recovered from the Heineken Cup semi-final defeat to Leinster.

"Coming up against them, yeah, it's always in the back of the mind, but we want to really focus on ourselves more than the past, Leinster and the hype of the game," he said.

"We have to look after ourselves and not worry about Leinster."
