Quinlan to appeal ban

Ireland international Alan Quinlan will appeal the ERC decision that resulted in a 12-week ban that, at the moment, rules him out of the British and Irish Lions tour to South Africa.

Last week, Quinlan was found to have been guilty of foul play in contravention of Law 10.4 (k) when he was seen to put his fingers across the eyes of Leinster captain Leo Cullen.
