Trimble to have knee operation

Ireland's Andrew Trimble will miss the rest of the season due to a knee injury that will require an operation.

The 24-year-old Ulster wing, who has been relatively injury-free during his career, will have a chipped bone removed from his right patella on Thursday morning.
